Passover Seder
CBI Seder Connections
This year CBI will not be hosting a Second Night Seder (on Thursday, April 6), but we’d like to assist our members in finding somewhere to celebrate with other members of the congregation or local Jewish community. If you plan to hold your own Second Night Seder, and have space to host additional CBI members, please contact the CBI office (or call 916-446-4861) to provide details, including how many additional guests you can accommodate. And if you’re in need of a place to celebrate the second night of Pesach, please contact the office with your request. We’ll match congregants in need of a Second Night Seder with spaces at other members’ tables. Please contact us by Sunday, April 2, so we may assist you in a timely manner.
More Local Options
Other local congregations are holding Pesach seders/celebrations on the third or fourth nights of Pesach:
- Congregation Beth Shalom (Carmichael) will hold a Passover Seder on Friday, April 7, at 6:00 PM. $36/person, open to the community. CBS will provide the main course, matzah, seder plate, and grape juice; attendees are asked to bring side courses to share. RSVP no later than March 26 at cbsevents.site/product/reservations/.
- Temple Or Rishon (Orangevale) is planning an afternoon hike on Saturday, April 8, to be followed by a dinner/partial seder service. This event is open to members of the community. For more details, email info@orrishon.org.
- Congregation Bet Haverim (Davis) will hold a community seder on Saturday, April 8. If space is available after Bet Haverim members register, it will be open to members of the community. For details, call their office at 530-758-0842 or email office@bethaverim.org.
