Sacramento Area Board of Rabbis invites our community to celebrate Israel's 75th Anniversary. 

Please join CBI and Bet Haverim for an evening of song, discussion, and study.  At the center of the evening will be a message from Anat Hoffman about the current state of Israel and how we in the Diaspora can be partners in working for a better Israel. Her piece will be used as a jumping-off point for a discussion moderated by the Rabbis.

Anat Hoffman | Chair of the Board, Women of the Wall
Anat Hoffman is a founding member of Women of the Wall. She previously served for twenty years as the Executive Director of the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), the legal advocacy arm of the Reform Movement in Israel. Prior to working for IRAC, she held a seat on the Jerusalem City Council, where for fourteen years she stood in opposition to the policies of the city’s right-wing and ultra-Orthodox administration. She has dedicated her adult life to the Jewish principle of tikkun olam, which literally means repairing the world.
