Congregation B'nai Israel offers a wide range of experiential learning and social opportunities for children and teens, both inside and outside the synagogue walls! Join us for these programs designed for kids 13 and under.
MISHPACHAH (FAMILY) SHABBAT
Part of Second Shabbes – Second Friday of the month at 6:00 PM | September through June
Everyone is welcome to join us for a joyful, multigenerational Shabbat celebration on Second Shabbes!
- 6:00 PM: Mishpachah (Family) Shabbat – This informal, musical Shabbat service is recommended for families with young kids up to 3rd grade.
- 6:30 PM: Second Shabbes Dinner in the Social Hall
- 7:30 PM: Shabbat Evening Service led by Rabbi Mona Alfi and Cantor Alexandra Kurland

MINI MINYAN
First Saturday of the Month at 10:30 AM | September through June
Mini Minyan is a free class for families with children 1–5 years old to gather, learn, and celebrate! Observe Shabbat and seasonal holidays with stories, art, music, and more!

K'TONTON
Register for the 2025–2026 year (select Kulanu 2025–2026)
K'tonton (Adults & Tots) A rich, varied, and engaging Sunday morning educational program that uses music, art, and Hebrew to provide a foundation for lifelong Jewish learning. Open to CBI members and non-members, the class meets twice a month.
