Donations: Supporting Kodesh v'Chol

Kodesh V'Chol

Congregation B’nai Israel is proud to support our sister community in Holon, Israel.

Founded in 2010, Congregation Kodesh v’Chol (for “holy & ordinary”) is a young, vibrant, and innovative community of over 150 families, serving a wider community population of over 150,000 people. With legal help from the Israel Religious Action Center, the community continues to work to overcome opposition by the religious establishment and build a permanent home for egalitarian, liberal Judaism in the heart of Israel led by a female reform Rabbi, Rabbi Galit Cohen-Kedem.
