Mitzvah Day is an exciting day of volunteerism, activism, and unity that benefits the entire community!

This annual event is a community outreach effort by coordinated CBI volunteers and staff. Held on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Weekend, it’s the chance to come together and do something meaningful.

Mitzvah Day kicks off with a breakfast and kickoff in the Social Hall. Then volunteers depart for their various assignments around the synagogue and in the community – cooking meals at local shelters, cleaning parks and trails, making blankets for the homeless, and more.
