“Havdalah in the 'Hood” Coming to Your Neighborhood!

This July and August, CBI’s Membership Committee will celebrate the richness of our community by helping congregants reconnect with old temple friends and break bread with new ones.

CBI members from many neighborhoods will open their homes to provide dinner and share a lay-led Havdalah service, marking the close of Shabbat and welcoming a new week.

There will be dinners for adults only and others for families with children of all ages. Family dinners will begin at 6:00 PM and adult dinners will begin at 6:30 PM. Our list of hosts will be out soon, so be sure to look online for a Havdalah dinner near you on a date that fits your schedule. If you can’t find a dinner close to your neighborhood or on a date that works for you, you are welcome to attend any dinner with space availability.
