Thank you for giving your time, talent, and financial support to Congregation B'nai Israel over the last year. It has been profoundly impactful during the pandemic to help sustain our community and provide direct support to those in need.
As our current fiscal year started July 1, 2020, the Board decided to auto-renew membership commitments at the your membership level for 2019-2020 and enroll your child, if applicable, in Religious School. Your membership commitment and any applicable Religious School tuition was posted to your account on July 1, 2020. There will be future correspondence with supplemental forms that will need to be completed by August 1, 2020 to complete the Religious School registration. Similarly, there will be future correspondence with Kesher (8th-12th grade) registration information and form links.
Your investment provides our community with strong clergy and staff leadership, uplifting services, stimulating programs for all ages, thriving Religious School and Youth Education programs, and a voice for tikkun olam, repairing the world. Membership contributions provide 65% of our annual budget, with the balance covered by fundraising, investment income, and fee-for-service revenues. For those who can, please consider increasing your annual contribution HERE, which helps affirm CBI’s commitment to provide membership and a Jewish education to all. As a reminder, if you give at the full suggested contribution level, you may gift a free membership for one year to a family or individual who is not currently a member or affiliated with another congregation.
Especially during these uncertain times, our staff and Board are committed to continue providing support to all of our congregational families.
