Storytelling is uniquely suited to reach hearts and minds. Noa writes, "I tell the human story that stands apart from politics and hope that hearing it will call upon us to listen with compassion without surrendering to prejudice and fear, choose dialogue, and commit to peace."
An Israeli who began a heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman while living in the United States, Noa weaves together their memories and their mothers' stories. She creates a moving testimony illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions that surround Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.
There will be a brief question-and-answer session after the presentation, followed by an Oneg reception.
Recommended for ages 12 and up; students attend for free!
Presented by the Congregation B’nai Israel Lifelong Learning Committee
Cosponsored by Women of B’nai Israel and the Shirley Seave Scholar-in-Residence Fund
