Journey to the Promised Land – Immigration Stories

Led by Rabbi Mona Alfi and Cantor Julie Steinberg, featuring a presentation by special guest Yuliya Patsay, storyteller and author of Until the Last Pickle: A Memoir in 18 Recipes, and food prepared by CBI members Jason Lindo and Galyna Shpilman who will also share her recent immigration story from Ukraine.

Join us for a delicious evening of Ukrainian food:

• Appetizer: Pickles! Dill pickles, pickled green tomatoes
• Main Course: Red Borscht and Green Borscht, with sour cream on the side
• Dessert Course: Vareniky (filled with sweet farmer’s cheese)
