Get ready to experience Shavuot like never before. Together, we’ll join in a vibrant, soul-stirring evening in which the Torah comes alive through the rich, bold tastes and sounds of Mizrahi culture. You’ll nosh. You’ll learn. You’ll sing. You’ll nosh again, then learn some more. Because at this Tikkun Leil Shavuot, food is midrash – every bite tells a sacred story: 

• Feast on a spread of goodies from the kitchens of CBI members Esther Gaines, Jason Lindo, and Caryn Mizzi, all inspired by traditional Mizrahi dishes and the Seven Species: flaky bourekas, fresh tabbouleh, warm challah, mouthwatering desserts, and more. 
• Immerse yourself in the melodies of Mizrahi music that will stir your spirit, guided by Cantor Alexandra Kurland. 
• Discover the 70 faces of Torah with Rabbi Mona Alfi through a multisensory journey that’s both ancient and modern, and utterly unforgettable. 

This evening is for anyone who craves meaning, inspiring tunes, and a second helping.

This event is free for members (although your optional $20 donation would be appreciated!) and $20/person for nonmembers. 

Registration is required by Tuesday, May 27. (Unfortunately, the food isn’t manna in the desert, and we want to have enough to feed both your soul AND your body.)
