Summer 2022 Camp Scholarship Application

Congregation B'nai Israel Scholarship Policy
To be considered for a scholarship, a family must be:
- Members in good standing (meaning annual membership pledge dues are paid in full or current on payment plan)
- Awards will not exceed 1/3 of total tuition per family

Applications for Jewish overnight camp scholarships are due March 4, 2022.  Any applications received after that date will be considered based on remaining funds available.


Applications for Camp Shelanu scholarships are due May 31, 2022.  Any applications received after that date will be considered based on remaining funds available.
 

APPLICANT'S INFORMATION:

Please include names of all campers for whom you are applying for a scholarship.
Please include grades for all campers for whom you are applying for a scholarship.
Please include the name of the camp your child/ren is attending (i.e. URJ Camp Newman, Camp Shelanu, etc.)
Please include cost of tuition for the campers that are registered.
In order for your application to be considered, you must include a specific dollar amount. Applications without this information will not be considered.
Applications not providing this information are incomplete and will not be able to be considered by the Scholarship Committee.
Should your camper(s) receive a scholarship, we ask that they perform the mitzvah of volunteering, preferably for a Jewish organization or cause.  Your child will need to complete this by August 1, 2022 and provide a one-page write-up of their mitzvah project to the Director of Education.
